Singapore Presbyterians among & for the people
The Presbyterian Church in Singapore has a social arm known as the Presbyterian Community Services (PCS). Under the umbrella of PCS, we focus within our given time, resources, and energy in running:
Children Services:
Children Services:
- 9 Childcare centres (6 offer MCYS’s Intergrated Childcare Programme for Children with Special Needs).
- 3 infant care centres.
- 1 community-based student care centre.
- 1 toddler enrichment centre.
Elderly Services:
- Sarah Seniors Activity Centre
- Dorcas Home Care Services
- Evergreen Circle (Neighbourhood link)
Emergency Relief Scheme:
- Provide temporary emergency relief to family in financial crisis.
Other Community Services provided by Presbyterian churches:
- Andrew & Grace Home: A residential care facility for teenage girls in need to residential care and rehabilitation.
- Step-Up Programme at Jingshan Primary School for students-at-risks.
- Grace Orchard School: Caters to 350 students with mild learning difficulties and mild autistic spectrum disorder.
- 3 Student Care Centres at Paris Ris.
- Extreme Youth Zone: Reaches out to youths-at-risks.
- COPE Project: Promote inter-generational bonding and contribute towards the well being of senior citizens.
